This summer, from June to September, the Galerie Privée in Lacoste is presenting works from the collection of the Bob and Kathrin Gysin Foundation. At the heart of this year's exhibition is Lumière du Sud – a presentation of signed works by photo artist Christian Scholz. The show is complemented by selected pieces from the foundation's collection, distributed throughout the house, including works by Klaus Born, Matthias Bosshart, Bessie Nager, Adrian Schiess and Andrea Wolfensberger.
In the expansive park and garden grounds, site-specific works by Michel Pfister and Carmen Perrin invite discovery – pieces that engage in a unique dialogue with their natural surroundings.
The Galerie Privée in Lacoste offers the opportunity to experience art beyond the major metropolitan centres – in a setting that brings together history, nature and contemporary creativity in a truly singular way.
